Wellfleet 1830 House
A Historic Recreation
Original 1830 home that was neglected for 3o years.
In downtown Wellfleet this home built in 1832 had been sitting vacant for forty years. Ambrose Homes preserved as much of the original structure as possible to bring back the property to its full glory almost two hundred years later.
Ambrose Homes designed the house with a greek revival facade and collaborated with the clients on re-imaging the interior for contemporary aesthetics and livability.
Our design called for custom crafted trim and woodwork which we made in our fabrication shop in Chatham.
